Making Sand Paintings

In the Tibetan Gaden Shartse Monastery that is located in India, four of the seven Tibetan Monks make traditional sand paintings at the Cozmic Cafe in Placerville that are known as a sand mandala. The Monks raise money to educate local about the Tibetan and Buddhist cultures and for their monastery. The sand paintings are very beautiful and look like they are very tedious to make.

For me these is real art, and probably requires a lot of work, train and patient. People from Tibet are maybe very strange for us, but i believe we can learn many things from them…

and what happen if you sneeze?

  2. Heidi says:

The people in Tibet are not “weird”, you are just ethnocentric and think your way of life is the way life should be all over the world. This form of art is actually a Buddhist tradition dating back hundreds of years and takes years to master. These men are dedicated to their art and the impermanence of the grains of sand. Instead, grab a fucking book and read about it.

  3. I care, I think it’s fascinating. And by the looks of the pictures so do at least a few other people. Stop being so ignorant.

  4. Loser says:

Fuck you Heidi, he said it may seem strange, and never called them “weird” as you so quoted.

He complimented them saying that we could learn from them, so go take your ass back to elementary school and learn how to read before you start to lash out at someone who was trying to show off amazing art.

  5. chels says:

The site is called “epic weird,” fuckheads, that implies that the poster was considering this a weird thing. He also said that “people from tibet are maybe very strange to us” so Heidi wasn’t just making shit up. Calm the fuck down, loser.

  6. Gutrend says:

Actually, he used the word strange, which is a synonym for weird in certain contexts, so perhaps Loser should knock off the swearing and wrap his/her head around the fact that he/she is arguing semantics for the sake of having an opinion.

As for Heidi, again, no reason for the swearing, and no real reason for the attack on the poster in general. If he didn’t find it interesting, he wouldn’t have posted it in the first place. Instead, regardless of how he expresses himself, you should be thanking him for providing such great photos.

That being said and done, I’m going to go fuck off now :)
