In Soviet Russia it seems that everything is possible, but the question how far will we go and why still remains. Best scientist and organ transplanter, Vladimir Demikhov succeeded in creating a fully functioning two headed dog in 1954. Basically, he took the upper torso of a smaller dog and put it on the neck of another, bigger dog, so they shared the same organ system, including the heart of course, so this newly created creature infact lived for about a few weeks! This was the first scientific proof that hybrid animals are possible to make, and no matter how contraversial and disgusting all this may look or sound, this act of Demikhov paved the way for later heart transplantation, so now the official medicine is able to save somebody’s life by successfully giving him/her somebody’s heart.
