Something I think you should know… Coca leaves are not in and of themselves addictive. In fact, many people chew the leaves like Americans chew gum. Tea can be made of it which is quite nice. Yes, coca leaves ARE what you create cocaine from, but there is more added in than JUST coca leaves. You railing on about it sort of shows a complete lack of understanding about Andean culture. You should add references to your claims, it makes a stronger argument. I’m not going to believe any of this just because you said so or because you say you researched it.
None of your claims have a source and you are making very biased comments. Also, most of the things you claim coke does is done in almost all capitalistic society. Hate to break it to you but most large corporations have taken advantage of people, especially in developing nations. You could probably make points like this for any company that has existed for over 100 years.

Leave coke and other brands, use the drink owned by your country.

The social issues are horrible but coca leaves as they are are completely harmless, they have to go a very heavy chemical process to become drug. I’ve chewed coca leaves and they are harmless.
Water is far superior. There is a reason it is the liquid that our body requires to function. I mostly stopped drinking sodas several years ago, and any time I ever tried to drink one again, they always taste overly sweet, thick, and gross. It is truly ridiculous that a bottle of soda costs less than a bottle of water. Anyway, looks like we have a bunch of coke lovers here.

To be honest with you, I was stunned by this piece of ‘news’ I didn’t know about Coca-Cola. Is this for real? Although I do not drink Coca-Cola or any soft drinks at all, not even a sip, these “facts” you speak of are realy untolerable.
Where have all the human and spiritual values I spoke about a while ago gone? Where does the Corporate Social Responsibility fit in here? Where has the ‘Win-Win’ gone? Do we practise such ‘Win-Win’ attitude?

Fool. Choclet also contains cocoa leaves. It also does NOT contain cocain. There is a stark difference between containing something that is in something else, and containing something.
My question is what does all the overflow of money that Coca-Cola brings in go to?
My theory is that somewhere down the road the money starts dissapearing and goes to weird persons or companys, but im just speculating.
Would be interesting though if somebody had the facts of were it all goes.
